The Friends of Dick Proenneke and Lake Clark National Park is currently raising money for the following projects.
- Raise one hundred thousand dollars to purchase the Terry Estate Lot 4 near Dick’s Cabin for Lake Clark National Park
- Fund million dollar endowment for long term preservation and interpretation of Dick’s Cabin and the Twin Lakes basin
- Reproduce or purchase artifacts and belongings for Proenneke Site
- Support park volunteers and staff
- Produce educational materials for park
- Purchase additional private lands with wilderness attributes from willing sellers within the park and preserve
- Replace sod roof and cure mold growth at Dick Proenneke’s Cabin – Completed!
- Produce highly detailed architectural drawings and HABS photos of Cabin – Completed!
